"The land of the free, and the home of the brave." "The leader of the free world." That’s what they always say about this country. But this is a Big Lie.

The truth is that we live under a system that, from the start in this country, built up its wealth and power by enslaving millions of Black people, stealing land from Indians and Mexicans through war and genocide, and working many people, including children, literally to death. It is by such murderous means that this system has expanded "from sea to shining sea" across this continent—and around the whole world.

Help spread special issue #170, learn and talk with people while building the needed revolutionary movement. If you are new to this and feeling shy, come out anyway there is a place for you.

Saturday, July 18, Noon
Meet @ Revolution Books

Located inside Four Corners Market, 1087 Euclid Ave. in Little 5 Points.
Meet at Revolution Books, decorate a couple of cars and join a car caravan to the West End neighborhoods to spread the newspaper and meet people. If you have streamers, placards, markers, masking tape, bring it along.

We will spread the newspaper and meet people in the Little 5 Points Plaza, corner of Euclid @ Moreland. We will build for the discussion at Revolution Books starting at 4:00 (see below).

This exchange is part 2 of a 6 part series, Alternative Perspectives is airing called Faith and Politics. Questions to consider: Can we work within the system to get to a better world or will it take a revolution to get to a world that will emancipate humanity?
